Vicar's Message
“Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we shall reap, if we do not lose heart.” — Galatians 6:9
The future is not something that simply happens to us — it is something we gently shape each day through our prayers, thoughts, our words, and our actions. Every thought we nurture, every word we speak, and every deed we perform becomes a seed planted in the soil of time.
In God’s divine wisdom, we reap what we sow. Seeds of kindness bear the fruit of peace. Seeds of forgiveness blossom into healing. Seeds of faith grow into hope and joy.
If we desire a beautiful and blessed future — for ourselves, our families, and our parish community — let us choose thoughts that uplift, words that encourage, and actions that reflect the love of Christ.
May everything, we think, say, and do be rooted in goodness and guided by God’s grace.
Your future — and the future of our parish — depends upon it.
May the Lord bless you abundantly.
God Bless You,
Fr. Jiju N. John
Secretary’s Message
The Malankara Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church in Abu Dhabi, renamed as St. Stephen’s Church, Abu Dhabi, and established on November 21, 1968, has remained a steadfast pillar of spiritual strength and unity for the faithful throughout the decades. Despite challenges along the way, the community continues to stand firm in its unwavering commitment to the Holy See of Antioch and the Holy Church.
This shared journey of faith has helped us overcome many trials, reaffirming the importance of spiritual integrity and true belief. As the Holy Father reminds us, even a single believer standing with conviction can uphold the sacred bond with the Church of Antioch.
The Holy Pope described the Church of Antioch as the Church of Martyrs, emphasizing the significance of faith and sacrifice.
As we enter the year 2026, it is envisioned as a time of positive change for the parish, marked by love and unity. The committee is committed to implementing various projects aimed at overcoming challenges and ensuring successful progress. The hope is for prosperity and success, and the community is urged to contribute through prayers, assistance, cooperation, and suggestions.
We would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to the UAE Government and Abu Dhabi Rulers for allowing freedom of worship to all believers.
Let us collectively pray for prosperous victories for everyone, seeking the intercession of St. Stephen.
With love and prayers,
Church Secretary
